Trespassing

It's dangerous to go alone

So it's a good thing we come in a group of four. It wouldn't be a proper beatem up game without co-op play available. More importantly it needs to be couch co-op play, the best way to have a fun time with a group of friends in a game. Annihilation will include up to four players of couch co-op to enhance the experience of playing through this action filled adventure. However this time we are going to focus on what a solo adventurer or a group of adventurers must fight through to see it all through to the end.

The elves are the most common enemy that can be encountered in the large forests in Annihilation. Their culture revolves around the protection of the forests and natural lands. Trespassers are attacked on sight, and it is uncommon for the elves to intentionally leave survivors to go and warn others of the elves. They want to be left alone, but are far from afraid of attacking those who endanger their territory.

Here we see the elf archer, trained from a young age their accuracy is deadly. They will peruse trespassers from range and take them down quick making blades much more challenging to use against these foes.

Due to their deep connection to nature, the elves lives are perfectly in tune with the land they live in. Upon their death they become leaves in the breeze, all of their naturally crafted armor goes with them. Feeding into the cycle of life and death more graceful than any other mortal race could.

In the forests of Annihilation you will find plenty of wolf packs. Not many hounds have been bred from these ferocious creatures thanks to the difficulty of capturing thanks to the elves as well as their natural aggression towards anything that isn't a member of their pack.

It is also said that the elves are capable of training these creatures, some even say the elves can speak with the beasts of the forest. They take in packs of wolves and add them into their army ranks as pack mates to their blades users. However few people who venture deep enough into the elven heartland come back alive to tell the tale of these mystical wolves.
